Augarten Vienna Porcelain Manufactory & Porcelain Museum
AUGARTEN VIENNA PORCELAIN MANUFACTORY & PORCELAIN MUSEUM
The Viennese Porcelain Manufactory in the Augarten in the 2nd district, is a sight of a special kind. Because in the historic baroque palace in the Augarten you can experience the unbroken tradition of the production of Viennese Augarten porcelain. Since 1718, every product here is handmade and therefore represents a unique specimen.
And the designs can be traced back to renowned artists from all eras. With 25,000 products, the spectrum of masterpieces ranges from baroque to modern.

During a guided tour of the Augarten, originally an imperial pleasure palace, visitors gain comprehensive insights into the art of the porcelain manufactory. In the process, you will not miss the attention to detail that is pursued with perfection in the production of porcelain goods.
You will also learn interesting information about famous decorations such as the "Viennese Rose" from the Biedermeier period or the "Melondenservice" from 1929. There is also plenty of historical information when it comes to the 300-year tradition of the Augarten Porcelain Manufactory. The porcelain museum in Augarten Castle gives you an insight into the history of the "white gold" in a very vivid way.
Afterwards you can buy our own fine porcelain goods in the store on site or in the Fagshipstore in the center of Vienna.
