Danube Tower
DONAUTURM
The Vienna Danube Tower in the Danube City is a characteristic part of the local skyline. The construction plan goes back to a design by architect Hannes Lintl, who created the tower on the occasion of the International Garden Show (WIG) in 1964. It includes the surrounding Danube Park, which was also designed for the horticultural show.

Meanwhile, the Danube Tower attracts numerous visitors every day who want to enjoy the unique 360-degree view. Because on the 252 meter high tower you have a unique panoramic view of Vienna. The sporty among you can climb the observation deck at the tower via 776 steps. For all others, however, there are also two high-speed elevators.
And if the beautiful view goes through your stomach, there are also two restaurants at your disposal at dizzying heights. Then you will be fed at the highest level and do not even have to give up the view. Because the restaurants slowly rotate around the Danube Tower, so you keep everything in view!
