Cafe Eiles
CAFE EILES
The café behind the town hall at the beginning of the 8th district, is one of the oldest coffee houses in Vienna. After all, the café has existed since 1838 and has not changed significantly since the 40s of the 20th century. But as timeless as the interior of Café Eiles may be, its menu is refreshingly new.

This is especially true of the breakfast menu, which offers six different breakfast combinations. And this has been the case since the new owner Gert Kunze took over in 2015.
Culinarily, the menu is set to Viennese, French, and English cuisine. The daily lunch menu at Eiles starts at 7.90, and the service here is unusually friendly and good-humored for a traditional Viennese café.
Like the cuisine, the audience at Eiles is also a colorful mix. From students who write their papers here to politicians, students and tourists, there is room for everything. The café is spacious and, on sunny days, can also offer a generous outdoor seating area.
In summary, at Café Eiles you will find a perfect combination of tradition, modern freshness and cordiality in service.
