A monument worth seeing in the Augustinian Church commemorates Archduchess Marie Christine, Maria Theresa's favorite daughter. The tomb was commissioned by Marie Christine's husband Albert of Saxony from Antonio Canova, who built it from 1798 to 1805. The work of art is located in the Gothic St. George's Chapel and represents the first tomb for a Habsburg woman.

Another special feature of the Augustinian Church, are the urns of the Habsburg hearts. These silver urns contain 54 hearts of deceased members of the imperial family.

But the organs of the Augustinerkirche are also worth seeing - and above all hearing. For these two instruments have already repeatedly helped the church to international renown. Moreover, they have already been used for the world premieres of historical masses. For example, Anton Bruckner performed his first Mass in F minor here, and Schubert himself conducted his Mass in F major here.
