Butterfly House
BUTTERFLY HOUSE
The famous Butterfly House of Vienna is located in the heart of the city. Here you will find a tropical oasis of a special kind. Because the glazed art nouveau building lets you enter the enchanting world of the "messengers of the gods". Here you can experience these delicate and colorful aerial creatures up close and in their natural ambience.

Because this is also emphasized by the unique setting of the building. Here you are in light-flooded rooms surrounded by waterfalls and exotic plants, while the butterflies provide a fantastic flight spectacle.
The Butterfly House is located at the far end of the Hofburg next to the Palm House at the Burggarten. Only 100 meters away is the Albertina and then the State Opera. The architecture of the Butterfly House is a masterpiece of Art Nouveau. Even Emperor Franz Josef I could enjoy the exotic atmosphere of the house.
