Krapfenwaldlbad

Krapfenwaldlbad

On the Cobenzlberg in the beautiful district of Döbling, the Krapfenwaldlbad is the highest outdoor pool in Vienna. The breathtaking view alone makes the Krapfenwaldlbad one of the most popular outdoor pools in the city.

The bath is named after Franz Josef Krapf and was opened in 1923 next to the Waldhaus in the Krapfenwaldl. Today, the restaurant is incorporated into the listed bath complex. The black pines on the grounds of the bath are also protected, as this type of tree is usually only found in the Mediterranean region.
