The Stadthallenbad is located in the Vienna Stadthalle on the Gürtel in Hütteldorferstraße, in the 15th district. Since its fundamental renovation, it is considered the most modern swimming center of Vienna. The Stadthalle is also remarkable from an architectural point of view. For the building designed by Ronald Rainer is considered a masterpiece of post-war modernism. Today you will find state-of-the-art technology combined with a nostalgic 70s flair.
For technical reasons, the Stadthallenbad is also used by competitive athletes for training. National and international competitions are also held here.
The large sports pool has two one-meter and two three-meter boards. Thus, here you can also make a synchronous jumping competition in pairs.
In addition to the sports pool and the training pool, there is also a teaching pool where budding swimmers can practice their first tempos. But the wellness area is not missing in the Wiener Stadthalle either!
A spacious sauna area has, in addition to the classic saunas, also a herbal chamber, a bio sauna and a salt sauna.
