CITY CINEMA KÜNSTELRHAUS
In the Künstlerhaus in Akademiestraße on Karlsplatz, there is an interesting new institution in the Viennese cinema scene: the Stadtkino. Where the classic Künstlerhaus cinema was until 2013, the Stadtkino from Schwarzenbergplatz has moved in. As such, the cinema concept is new, but the establishment is dignified, old and above all: beautiful.
Because the cinema hall in the Künstlerhaus is definitely a sight in itself. And that's because its walls are decorated with magnificent murals. These visualize the visual and performing arts allegorically. The complete work goes back to the artists Rudolf Holzinger and Rufolf Eisenmenger.
A visit to the Stadtkino im Künstlerhaus is therefore always something special, not to mention the film!
