BELVEDERE 21

JEWISH MUSEUM

CLIMATE VILLA

The Kunsthistorisches Museum was built in 1891 near the Hofburg. It provides a worthy place for the extensive collections of the imperial house. MAK

Design takes center stage at the MAK. The Museum of Applied Arts shows furniture, glass and porcelain, silver and textile. Also on display is the precious bentwood furniture by Thonet. MOZARTHAUS

The world famous composer Mozart had many apartments in the course of his life, but in Domgasse No. 5, since 2006 part of the "Mozarthaus Vienna", he probably spent his happiest years. The Viennese composer stayed in Mozarthaus from 1784 to 1787, the years in which "The Marriage of Figaro" was written. On the second floor visitors can admire a stately domicile. It consists of four rooms, two cabinets and a kitchen.
