Chocolate Museum
CHOCOLATE MUSEUM VIENNA
In the middle of Vienna's Prater, chocolate fans get their money's worth. Because in this museum, visitors embark on a journey through time under the sign of chocolate history. This adventure begins with the ancient Mayans and even reaches the imperial court in Austria.
The Chocolate Museum Vienna offers visitors several stations on the trail of cocoa beans. And in one workshop, you can even try your hand at making chocolate yourself! This challenge is also a real highlight for children. Because there are also numerous opportunities for interactive games. For example, you can briefly practice being a chocolate star in your own film, or find out your personal chocolate type.

But this museum also provides for historical and geographical horizon broadening. For example, one learns about the history of the Mayas at the time of the Spanish conquest. The use of the cacao bean also illuminates social structures of that time. Then at the so-called "jungle path" one learns about details around the cacao harvest. Moreover, crocodiles and monkeys transport you to the natural environment of cacao plants.
The history of art and culture is not neglected either. Chocolate sculptures bear witness to masterpieces and personalities from the art, culture and entertainment scene.
In short, the Chocolate Museum Vienna is a pleasure for the whole family!
