MUSEUMSQUARTIER (MUMOK, LEOPOLD, KUNSTHALLE)

Nust a short distance from the Hofburg Palace, an impressive art district opens up to visitors to Vienna: the MuseumsQuartier. This vibrant art scene houses the famous Leopold Museum, the Museum of Modern Art (MUMOK) and the Kunsthalle as permanent institutions. But also institutions like the Architekturzentrum or the children's theater Dschungel Wien, belong to the area.

Museumsquatier wien Vienna Stay Apartments

Originally, the imperial court stables were located here. Now this place is a lively leisure and cultural center.

The various cafés, bars and design stores blend harmoniously into the ensemble of baroque architecture with modern intermediate buildings. In keeping with the motto "Preserve the old, experience the new," the MuseumsQuartier adapts to the pulse of the times.

In the Leopold Museum, visitors can see exquisite works by Schiele and Hundertwasser. In the MUMOK, one encounters international art by modern and contemporary greats. And in the Kunsthalle, current events in the art world are reflected with space for visions of the future.

Culinary delights in the MuseumsQuartier

After a visit to the museum in the Muesumsquartier, the Leopold Café invites you to snacks, drinks and classic dishes. At Café.Restaurant Halle, you can enjoy the benefits of a designer bar. For something more down-to-earth in between meals, there's the Kantine. Otherwise, there is the charming restaurant Corbaci or the McDaily. Just take your pick!
