ZOOM CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
The Museumsquartier offers a special attraction for Vienna's youngest visitors: the Zoom Children's Museum. Here, children have unlimited opportunities to explore and play. And they can do so on an extensive total area of 1600 square meters.
At last, there are answers to all the questions a child can ask. And as we all know, there are countless of them. Because at the Zoom Children's Museum, the world can be explored through a child's eyes.
In addition, there are exhibitions and workshops around the year, which are complemented by a sensational multimedia laboratory.
The multimedia lab has specific research areas for children of all ages. Yes, even infants can already put out their feelers here to make a tickle anemone laugh.
Namely, the "Zoom Ocean" area is perfect for the smallest visitors. Here, your dwarves can enjoy the world of the seas in glittering water grottos and mirror tunnels. The particularly daring can even make it onto the deck of the Famosa ship, where they can take the helm as part of the crew. In the Zoom Atelier, the little ones devote themselves to the world of art. Here they can paint, cut, spray and build as they please. In the process, they are guided by professional artists.
In the Zoom hands-on exhibition, the somewhat older children (6-12 years) can have their say. It is about the important topics of science, questions about culture, art and architecture. And this happens in a playful way, as an experience for all the senses.
Finally, teens also get their money's worth at the Zoom Animation Studio. Here, children and teenagers become directors or screenwriters. They can even take over the camera work! But they can also try their hand as sound technicians or photographers here. Then the young talents can produce their own animated films or songs!
