The magnificent building was designed by the architect Alexander Wielemans von Monteforte. Sculptor Emanuel Pendl designed the impressive lions on the flight of steps, as well as the marble statue of the goddess Justitia with gold sword and law book in the assembly hall.

Inside the Palace of Justice, the magnificent assembly hall with the central staircase railing and the coats of arms of the former crown lands of Austria is fascinating. The assembly hall extends over 3 floors with arcades and is covered by a glass roof.

Insider tip: After a tour of the Palace of Justice, a visit to the in-house café is a must! This is located on the top floor directly above the main entrance and is open to the public. It also offers a beautiful panorama in a magnificent setting!
