ZOOM Children’s Museum at MuseumsQuartier is one of Vienna’s most popular attractions for younger visitors. Across around 1,600 square metres, children can explore, experiment, create and play in environments designed especially for them.
The museum encourages children to discover the world through their own curiosity and offers exhibitions, workshops and interactive activities throughout the year.
Different areas are designed for different age groups. Even very young children can explore playful installations involving touch, movement, sound and visual experiences.
ZOOM Ocean is designed for the youngest visitors and introduces them to a colourful underwater-inspired world. At ZOOM Studio, children can paint, cut, spray, build and experiment creatively with guidance from artists.
The interactive exhibition for children aged around 6 to 12 explores topics from science, culture, art and architecture through hands-on experiences.
Older children and teenagers can experiment with animation, film, sound and photography in the ZOOM Animation Studio and create their own short films and media projects.
Adults are welcome as accompanying visitors, making ZOOM Children’s Museum an entertaining destination for the whole family.
