Augarten Porcelain Manufactory & Museum

The Vienna Porcelain Manufactory at Augarten in Vienna’s 2nd district offers visitors an insight into the long tradition of Viennese porcelain. Located in the historic Augarten Palace, the manufactory continues to produce porcelain largely by hand.

Its designs reflect styles and artistic influences from the Baroque period through to modern and contemporary design.

Guided tours provide visitors with an introduction to the craftsmanship behind Augarten porcelain and the detailed work involved in creating individual pieces.

The museum also presents famous decorative patterns and designs from different periods and explores the approximately 300-year history of Viennese porcelain and the tradition of the manufactory.

Visitors can purchase Augarten porcelain in the on-site shop as well as at the company’s flagship store in Vienna’s city centre.
