Vienna’s municipal family pools are designed specifically for families with children and provide an easy and affordable way to cool down during the summer months.
Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Adults without children are not permitted to enter the family pools. Young people aged 15 to 18 may visit only together with an adult and a child under the age of 15 as part of a family group.
Unlike traditional swimming pools, family pools focus primarily on shallow multi-purpose and children’s pools rather than large sports pools. This makes the facilities particularly suitable for younger swimmers.
Depending on the location, children can enjoy water slides, fountains, water-play areas, bubbling features and other family-friendly attractions.

1030 – Familienbad Schweizergarten, entrance Kleistgasse
1100 – Familienbad Gudrunstraße, corner of Absberggasse
1110 – Familienbad Herderpark, Herderplatz
1140 – Familienbad Reinlgasse, corner of Märzstraße
1160 – Familienbad Hofferplatz
1180 – Familienbad Währinger Park, entrance Semperstraße
1190 – Familienbad Hugo-Wolf-Park
1210 – Familienbad Stammersdorf, Luckenschwemmgasse / corner of Josef-Flandorfer-Straße
1210 – Familienbad Strebersdorf, Roda-Roda-Gasse
