Café Eiles, located just behind Vienna City Hall at the beginning of the 8th district, is one of the city’s oldest coffeehouses. Dating back to 1838, it has retained much of its traditional character, while its menu brings a more contemporary touch to the classic Viennese café experience.
This is particularly noticeable at breakfast, with several different breakfast combinations to choose from. The café received a fresh culinary direction after Gert Kunze took over the business in 2015.
The menu combines Viennese, French and English influences and also includes a daily lunch menu. Café Eiles is equally known for its friendly and relaxed service, which gives the traditional coffeehouse a welcoming atmosphere.
