Kurpark Oberlaa

Discover the best attractions in Vienna and plan unforgettable experiences.

Although the Kurpark Oberlaa lies rather off the usual tourist tracks, it is all the more worth a visit! Moreover, you can also reach this charming park quickly and easily by the U1 from the city centre.

Once you arrive there, you step into another world. And into a world that consists of several very different themed areas. For example, you can test your sense of direction in the flower labyrinth, or your nose in the allergy garden. But there is also the so-called Film City in the Kurpark, the Baroque Fountain Garden, the Love Garden, the perennial garden and the Skateland. Yes, even a Japanese garden awaits you here!

Special attractions for the younger visitors are flawless playgrounds and animal enclosures with a petting zoo. In addition, there are some idyllic ponds. And finally, on the expansive meadows you can romp, do gymnastics or picnic wonderfully. In short, here, not far from Vienna’s city centre, you can treat yourself and the whole family to a day in the midst of greenery.

Historically, the Kurpark Oberlaa is a result of the “Vienna International Garden Show” of 1974. Just like the garden show of 1964, which was held back then in the Donaupark, the one of 1974 in the Kurpark Oberlaa was also a full success and scored with 2.5 million visitors.
