Imperial Treasury

The Imperial Treasury in Vienna’s city centre is the most important in the world. Exhibits spanning more than 1000 years of European history await visitors here. You can marvel at two imperial crowns as well as the Burgundian Treasure and the Treasure of the Order of the Golden Fleece. A very special piece of the collection is the octagonal Crown of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation. The well-known Austrian Imperial Crown is also kept here.

WestLicht & OstLicht

Lovers of photography should definitely not miss this exhibition. The photo exhibition at West- und Ostlicht shows over 800 valuable historical cameras and special cameras as well as outstanding photographs. In addition, the OstLicht Gallery in the former Ankerbrot factory presents special exhibitions of a particular kind.

Vienna Planetarium

The Zeiss Planetarium recreates the night-time starry sky true to nature with the most modern projection technology. Visitors thus admire the infinite expanses of space by day and by night. Become a witness to the elemental force of astronomical events, too. At the Vienna Planetarium you see stars, planets, comets and much more! The planetarium is also very exciting for children.

Time Travel Vienna

Have you always been an enthusiastic time-travel fan? Then you should not miss “Time Travel Vienna” in Vienna’s city centre. Here you can embark on a virtual journey through the history of Vienna. The historic ambience of the St. Michael monastery invites you on a journey through the centuries. The 5D cinema transports its visitors, for example, into the time of Roman Vienna.

Ottakringer Brewery

Ottakringer beer is one of the best-known beers in Austria. The brewery in Vienna’s 16th municipal district was opened back in 1837 by master miller Heinrich Plank under the name Planksche Brauerei. Since then, excellent types of beer have been brewed there. If you are interested in the art of brewing, you should not miss a tour through the well-known Ottakringer Brewery.

Kuffner Observatory

Travel through the starry sky! The Kuffner Observatory in Vienna presents the infinite expanses of space to you. Here you can take part in interesting astronomical guided tours. In good weather, the large telescope from 1886 gives you a spectacular view of the stars. The guided tours through the observatory are suitable for children aged 6 and over.

Madame Tussauds Vienna

Here blind guides lead visitors through everyday situations, and that in complete darkness. Across around 1,000 square metres, you experience various everyday situations. You can also enjoy a Dinner in the Dark.

Academy of Fine Arts

For art lovers, a dream comes true at the Academy of Fine Arts. Here numerous paintings from the most diverse eras can be marvelled at. The works of the famous masters stay in your memory for a long time. The unique collection comprises 800 paintings of the highest quality.
